Behind the Story of "Only The Wicked"

Jim and Phyllis Franklin started their own candle business in the 90's due to their passion of making their own candles.  On a trip to San Luis Obispo, a friend suggested the clever name of "Only The Wick'ed."   The candle business lasted about 5 years. However, with working full time and the competition of cheaper products, Jim and Phyllis decided that it was not the right time.  Their passion was in making quality home made products. Since then, they had found their passion in clay.    Having taken professional classes to learn their craft, they have since started making their own custom made ceramics from bowls, cups. planters, and more!

About Phyllis

Phyllis has a passion for gardening and plants.  She specifically enjoys air plants and succulents. She enjoys creating ceramic planters for her plants.

About Jim

​

Jim is a veteran who has worked as an engineer for many years.  You can sometimes watch him as he solves math problems in his head.  Creating pottery has become his creative outlet.
